This five-day course is a detailed-level course covering capability planning, organisational, human resources, and accounting integration topics in the SAP Defense and Security industry solution. It is relevant to defence, humanitarian aid and disaster relief, policing, and security organisations.

The course provides focused learning of SAP D&S solution through system demonstrations, guided exercises, concept discussions, and industry experience. This course is suggested for those who plan to participate in implementation, rollout, and support of SAP D&S in the areas of Force Element, Organisational Flexibility, and Integration of Accounting.

Participants will learn the functionality and techniques of SAP D&S, and best practice approaches of D&S using examples, rather than customer-specific implementation know-how. It is an essential prerequisite for IDS30, especially the logistics portion.

Note: This course does not require prior knowledge of the previous SAP DFPS solution. Customers who have trained in the past on SAP DFPS solution, particularly DFPS66 course, will find many of the concepts similar but the usage of D&S apps is new. However, this is not a delta training DFPS->D&S as the concepts are shown anew.
