Why study this course

This two-day course covers the most important tasks for an SAP HANA administrator for the combined update and migration of an SAP system to the SAP HANA database. It provides details about the preparation of the procedure and technical details of the process.

Participants will use the database migration option (DMO) of the Software Update Manager (SUM) tool for system maintenance of SAP systems.

Exercises in the course cover the DMO specific steps. Participants will perform a DMO run themselves on a dedicated training system. Most of the content of this course is also covered in SAP S/4HANA Conversion and SAP System Upgrade (ADM328).

After this course participants are well prepared for a successful migration to SAP HANA.
