Discover the transformative power of Business Architecture with EA Learning’s immersive three-day Applied Business Architecture course! Through storytelling, business modeling and visualisations, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to apply business architecture concepts and techniques to build a resilient and adaptive enterprise.
By using the narrative of an executive, we help you identify answers to typical business questions such as:
Where are my hotspots and pain points?
Is my strategy aligned with business operations focus areas?
How can I adjust my resources to improve my return on investment?
By using structured and proven methods, we help you approach transformation from current to desired state. We guide the business architecture by using the strategic planning questions of; Where are we now? Where do we want to get to? How do we get there?
Analyse the current landscape
By utilising a business transformation case study, using contemporary canvases, and collaborating with like-minded professionals, you will work as a team to walk through the executive insights.
You will then analyse the current state using:
critical thinking (logic, reasoning, evidence)
design thinking (experiences, motivations, perceptions)
architectural thinking (systems, organisational structures, interrelationships)
Overcome challenges and identify opportunities
From strategy to operations, you will learn how to gain a deep understanding of an organisation's current and desired future state and be equipped to interpret and contextualise strategies that drive real, tangible results.
You will improve your strategic thinking by practising how to identify opportunities and challenges. Additionally, you will experience the importance of business storytelling to communicate, in a clear and relatable way.
Identify resources essential to meet both strategic and tactical goals
Using capability planning and mapping concepts, you will learn about the various elements that make up a business and how they interact to achieve organisational goals. Then, by mapping strategic overlays and maturity assessments, you will provide clarity on strategic objectives, identify misalignment and help with optimisation of people, processes, information and tools.
Roadmap to success
Once you have performed your strategic analyses, maturity assessments and created a desired state, you will roadmap the transition plan to uplift the business capabilities (people, process, information, technology). Finally, you will learn to present the findings in a relatable way, using a storyboard that speaks to all stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
