Please Note: Launching February 3, 2026, DevNet certifications will evolve to an Automation track. This track introduces three updated certifications (CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE Automation) that are built to give students in-demand skills in automation, application design, and software development. Effective February 3, 2026, active DevNet certifications will automatically be migrated to CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE Automation.
The DevNet Associate certification is the first step in your network automation career. This certification shows you can implement network applications built on Cisco platforms, and automate IT processes across network, security, collaboration, and computing systems.
There are no formal prerequisites for the DevNet Associate certification, but most learners have one or more years of experience with software development, including Python programming.

Required exam: 200-901 DEVASC
