Why study this course

The DevOps Leader (DOL)® course introduces new and innovative ways to organise and manage value streams using DevOps practices. Tailored for those engaged in a DevOps evolution, it is a unique and practical experience for participants who want to take a transformational leadership approach and make an impact within their organisation by implementing DevOps. Leading people through a DevOps evolution requires new skills, tools, innovative thinking, and transformational leadership. Leaders up, down and across an organisation must align and collaborate to break down silos and evolve the organisation.

This course highlights the human dynamics of cultural change and equips participants with practices, methods, and tools to engage people across the DevOps spectrum through the use of real-life scenarios and case studies. Upon completion of the course, participants will have tangible takeaways to leverage when back in the office such as understanding Value Stream Mapping.

This course pricing includes an exam voucher to sit an online proctored exam through PeopleCert. A sample exam paper will be discussed during class to assist with preparation.

PeopleCert DevOps Exams

DevOps Institute exams are now conducted via PeopleCert's online proctoring, with an improved web-based platform released in February 2024. Candidates can schedule their exam for any time within the voucher validity period of 12 months, to be taken anywhere, on any Windows or Mac computer. Live proctors will guide and invigilate the exam process. For full details please see PeopleCert's Guidelines for Web-Based Exam Driver.

To comply with PeopleCert requirements, Lumify Work cannot provide DevOps Institute training courses without the corresponding official exam.
