This one-day course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilise Microsoft Fabric in their organisations. Students will discover how to enhance productivity, unify data, and drive impactful business decisions.
Important note: Power BI is a Microsoft App that is not currently supported on non-Windows systems (such as Apple Mac).
At the end of the workshops, attendees will better understand how to:
Identify when their organisations can benefit from using Microsoft Fabric for their specific business scenarios
Use Microsoft Fabric to streamline and enhance productivity
Unify and transform data from across various data sources through Shortcuts, Dataflows Gen 2 and Pipelines
Build rich and powerful reports to discover meaningful insights and make impactful business decisions with Power BI

Power BI Data Analysts
This is an intermediate-level training course designed for Power BI Data Analysts who have at least one year of experience on Power BI but are new to Microsoft Fabric.
In order to attend this course you must have Power BI Desktop installed on your local desktop or laptop prior to attendance. Download Power BI Desktop from Microsoft here. Power BI accessed through a browser or Microsoft Teams does not have the features and functionality needed to complete this course. Remote connection to your work desktop or laptop is also not suitable.
In addition you will need to be able to extract compressed (ZIP) files to your desktop or laptop.
We recommend dual monitors, especially if your primary monitor is a laptop screen.
