Why study this course

This Practitioner course usually runs consecutively with PRINCE2 Foundation as a five-day Combined course at a reduced price.

Included in this course is the PRINCE2 6th Edition Practitioner Exam. To assist in passing the exam you are permitted to use only the PRINCE2 6th Edition official publication provided with the Foundation course.

Our PRINCE2 Practitioner course is uniquely designed to provide the in-depth knowledge and understanding necessary to practice and apply the PRINCE2 6th Edition methodology.

Participants are required to exhibit the competence required from the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification and show how they can apply PRINCE2 to address the needs of a project, the sponsoring organisation and the needs of various stakeholders, to a set of specific project scenarios.

Examination

This course pricing includes a voucher for the PRINCE2 6th Edition Practitioner Exam, which is an online proctored exam through PeopleCert. Practice exam papers are provided in the course, and reviewed to assist in preparation.

The exam is:

2.5 hours (150 minutes) duration, no additional reading time
Objective testing
68 questions
Pass mark is 38 out of 68 (i.e. approximately 55%)
Open book (PRINCE2 6th Edition official publication only)

After passing the exam, each student’s certificate will be made available to them via PeopleCert.

It is highly recommended that you spend some time each evening of this course reviewing and consolidating what you’ve learned, to be well prepared for the exam.

Students are strongly encouraged to attend the Practitioner course immediately after the Foundation course. This is because the Practitioner exam requires strong current knowledge of the PRINCE2 6th Edition official publication. This knowledge is gained in the Foundation course and therefore is still fresh for assisting with passing the Practitioner exam.

Prerequisites

To take the PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam you MUST provide proof you have one of the following certifications:

PRINCE2 Foundation (2009 certification or later)

Project Management Professional (PMP®)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®)
IPMA Level A, B, C, or D

Proof of current certification will be required when booking.

Important note: If you do not have a copy of the PRINCE2 6th Edition official publication (provided with the Foundation course), we recommended you purchase a copy, via Lumify Work or your own means. The Practitioner exam is open book which will put you at a disadvantage without the official publication to hand.
