Why study this course

Learn how to create, edit, and apply special effects to images and text for print, websites, or social media with Australia's #1 Adobe Training Partner, City Desktop.

This two-day introductory Adobe Photoshop® course starts from the very beginning, looking at the toolbox, which is explored thoroughly, utilising both the surface defaults and the hidden options available for each tool. Shortcuts are emphasised, both for the tools and as a method of working.

You'll be introduced to the latest techniques and Photoshop tools used in the current version (CC2023) for photo-retouching, tonal correction, deep etching, image editing, colour painting, and montaging.

To fast-track and reinforce your Photoshop training, City Desktop has developed their own courseware (step-by-step workbooks) that you can take with you after the course. Our specially designed courseware highlights the features and updates to the latest version but is also suitable for CS6 or earlier versions.
