ITIL® 4 has been designed to help organisations meet the increasing demand from the current complex digital environment. It is backwards compatible with ITIL v3 and streamlined to provide better progression beyond Foundation level.
The entry point into ITIL certification for all students is ITIL 4 Foundation.
Students who are new to ITIL should sit the three-day ITIL 4 Foundation course, while students with at least two-to-three years of practical working experience in IT and Service Management may opt for Lumify Work's two-day ITIL 4 Foundation - Fast Track course.
ITIL 4 Certification Designations
The ITIL 4 Certification Scheme comprises three separate designations which may be pursued after passing ITIL 4 Foundation.

To obtain the ITIL Practice Manager (ITIL PM) designation, the candidate must complete a certain combination of PM modules, and may include the ITIL Extension Modules. Further information will be released by PeopleCert in autumn (northern hemisphere) 2023.
If all three designations are successfully attained, the candidate will be eligible to become an ITIL Master.
