Overview

The VCAP-CMA Design 2023 certification demonstrates an individual's proficiency in designing VMware Aria (formerly VMware vRealize), which is a cloud management platform that automates the provisioning and management of IT infrastructures. Job-roles associated with this certification include cloud architects, cloud administrators, and consultants.

Training and exams:

STEP 1: Earn the VCP-CMA 2023 or VCP-CO 2023 (or hold a VCP-CMA 2022 or VCP-CO 2022)

STEP 2: Attend one of the required training courses:

• VMware vRealize Operations: Install, Configure, Manage [V8.6]

• VMware vRealize Operations: Advanced Use Cases [V8.x]

• VMware Aria Automation: Install, Configure, Manage [V8.10]

• VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle: Install, Configure, Manage [V8.10]

• VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager: Install, Configure, Manage [V8.0]

• VMware vSphere: Design [V7]

STEP 3: Pass the Cloud Management and Automation Advanced Design exam
