Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites, but CompTIA recommends 3–4 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience, plus familiarity with AI‑enabled security tools. Having a core certification such as Security+, CySA+, PenTest+ or SecurityX (or equivalent experience) will make SecAI+ much more approachable for you.
