Please Note: Cybersecurity certification names are changing. Effective February 3, 2026, active Cybersecurity Associate and Professional certifications will automatically be migrated to CCNA Cybersecurity and CCNP Cybersecurity. No changes will be made to the exam topics, only the name of the certifications will change.

There are no formal prerequisites for Cybersecurity Associate certification, but you should have an understanding of the exam topics before taking the exam.
