Why study this course

AI has changed what an attack looks like:

  • scam emails now have perfect spelling

  • scammers can clone a voice on the phone from a few seconds of audio

  • scammers test stolen passwords against millions of accounts in minutes.

Cyber for Everyone is built for these attacks. It’s a current, practical plain language course that gives your whole team the habits they need to stop most of today’s attacks.

We based our 9 short modules on what is happening to Australian organisations right now. The 2026 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report found a person was involved in 62% of breaches, which is why our course is about:

  • building the security habits people need to prevent breaches

  • recognising today’s threats: phishing and AI-assisted scams across email, text and voice

  • using passphrases, a password manager and MFA with confidence

  • sharing and storing information safely and in line with the Australian Privacy Principles

  • following your organisation’s security decisions

  • knowing exactly what to do when something feels off.

Every module stands on its own, so your people can complete our course in any order and revisit the modules any time. The course takes approximately 60 minutes and a digital certificate of completion will be provided.

What standards and obligations does it support?

  • meet the security awareness training expected under ISO 27001 (Annex A 6.3)

  • handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles

  • reinforce the everyday behaviours behind the Essential Eight, such as using MFA and keeping software patched.
