This one-day course will teach students how to create custom agents in Copilot Studio and provide the opportunity to practice their skills with a guided project.
After completing this course, students will be able to:
Create and test agents
Analyse performance
Build an agent by using Microsoft Copilot Studio
Use topics to create and manage conversation paths in an agent
Work with topic triggers and conversation nodes
Add branching to a topic
Use system topics and create topics from content
Set up fall-back topics to handle unrecognised user input
Understand entities and custom entities
Learn about variables across topics
Initiate Power Automate flows directly from topics in your agent
Configure agent to pass conversations to applications such as Omnichannel for Customer Service
Extract content from support pages and configure it into agent topics that you can use in conversations
Discover how the agent can call Microsoft Copilot Studio to retrieve data from Dataverse for Teams
Publish the agent to your team or the whole company

Participants use Microsoft Copilot Studio to solve business problems with agents. They are familiar with the capabilities and limitations of Copilot Studio and are self-directed and solution focused but may not have formal IT training. They are comfortable using technology to solve business problems with a personal growth mindset.
Participants must have their own Microsoft 365 Copilot license to take part in this training.
