Why study this course

Microsoft 365 is Microsoft’s cloud-based suite of productivity tools designed to help professionals work smarter and collaborate more effectively. It includes the well-known Office apps of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as collaboration and productivity tools such as Teams, Planner, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, and Copilot. These cloud-based apps allow users to access files and content securely from anywhere, enabling real-time collaboration and improved productivity in the workplace.

Our Microsoft 365 Essentials course is designed for beginners and organisations new to Microsoft 365. Over one day, participants will gain the core skills to improve productivity, communication, and file management using the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.

Through hands-on activities, you’ll learn how to work confidently with Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint, while exploring productivity apps like Forms, Planner, OneNote, and Loop. The course also includes practical exercises with Copilot Chat, Microsoft’s AI assistant, showing you how to draft emails, summarise documents, and streamline tasks.

The promise of AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot in particular is clear. Microsoft research demonstrates that Copilot adoption results in: Significant time savings across departments Improved efficiency in document creation and communication Enhanced employee satisfaction and reduced repetitive tasks Copilot boosts creativity and makes data-driven insights more accessible than ever before. But how can businesses realise these benefits at scale? Just as we saw with the advent of the internet or the PC, business transformation comes with broad adoption.”
